Producer/Director- Matt Ruggles
Matt Ruggles attended Eastern Michigan University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications and Film in 1994. 

 

A desire for change and some warmer weather lead Matt to Atlanta.  Following a position as a rental coordinator for a broadcast video rental house, Matt decided to start 7th Wave Pictures in early 2003. The video production company works in corporate, broadcast, and documentary.

7th Wave Pictures has also produced a couple of award winning short narrative films.  While they have enjoyed the success of these shorts, documentary is what they are most passionate about.  After some short documentaries were completed an opportunity presented itself when Matt first met Dr. Pamela Croft in 2004.  Pamela’s tragic, yet inspiring story lead to the idea of doing a feature length documentary on her life.  Four years later 7th Wave Pictures is nearing completion on  “Back to Brisbane.”
